Cuando alguien desvía el tema cabe "vamos al grano". Percibo que decir "down to nuts ..." es ir a lo más simple, comenzar por pernos y tuercas; es diferente. Tu listado es útil y admirable, sinceramente, pero no incluye la expresión.

@ Malega. Equally, and with all due respect, I understand that an answer which suits your text has been chosen, and this is fully accepted. However, this is merely to say that the answer that Mrs. De Jorge provided is INDEED CORRECT!
