as كلما Explanation: "As" here is closer to "when," but you are right: it does in fact have a shade of "because." The doctor shares the information. When he/she does so (and because he/she does so), he/she feels less pressured. I feel that the word كلما somehow carries both senses, akin to "as" in the text you cited. |
