As you can see, the Auflauf bit can mean a number of things

maybe leading tool? (this is why I suggested tool guide as I thought that was better than leading tool) or perhaps even contact-triggered tool.

What is the Auflaufwerkzeug, is the the Werkzeug mentioned in your text or the Schieber or both? It is not quite clear

I have had another look at the tool in my ref. The contact with the surface triggers a radial motion

perhaps \"contact-actuated tool\" describes the tool better. I don\'t know if there is a proper term for this, there are certainly google hits for contact + actuation/actuated + tool
