Esto ya me preguntaba, pero... el cliente (con tendencia a utilizar jergas neologisticos) dice que es "condena" aunque no sabe como se traduce. Por el contexto, parece ser sinonimo de "dispositivo" ...
momo savino May 27, 2009:
¿condena? ¿No es posible que sea "cadena"?

anti-thrust bolt

2030 Serie

Taken from TESA's bilingual website with reference to their lock #2030F:

Aplicable a puertas cortafuego.
Antipánico: nueca pasante o doble nueca.
****Dispositivo de seguridad antitarjeta****.
Modelo para puertas de entrada.

Application to fire proof doors (steel latchbolt and deadbolt).
Panic feature: standard or split follower.
****Anti-thrust bolt****. (Only in models with standard follower)
Entrance doors.

Dispositivo de seguridad antitarjeta.
Anti-thrust bolt. (Only in models with standard follower)
Entrance doors.

It seems to be this.

Good luck.

I think "condena" is a spelling mistake. Maybe it is "cadena"?

Hi, if you look up "condena de puertas" on google you can find quite a few hits. Apparently it is some sort of "toggle", according to this word reference site:

http://forum.wordreference.com/showthread.php?t=1236225

Look at this site as well:

Anti-Thrust Devices to provide anti-jemmy protection for mortice deadlocks and latches AT1UK , 2021UK, AT1EU, 2021EU,AT1OV, 2021OV Anti-Thrust Devices to ...

http://www.kickstopsecurity.com/en-gb/dept_21.html

Apparently these anti-jemmy devices are called "anti-thrust plates", "anti-thrust bolts" or simply "anti-thrust devices"
Note from asker:
Sounds great. Now I'm wondering, if this is domething to stop burglars jemmying the doors, why is it called "anti-tarjeta" and why "condena"??
