In HR we "pro-rate" salary, bonuses, holiday entitlements for fractions of time periods (months or years) for staff not starting/leaving at the start/end of a period. And yes, it's an English company and I used to do local HR and that was/is the term used in our employment contracts. As the next sentence refers to taxes, you may want to use "pro-rated gross salary"
