English Tech/Engineering Engineering (general) medical coding / US
After the RUC achieves consensus on valuation, the codes and values are submitted to CMS for inclusion in the Resource Based Relative Value System ( RBRVS ).
CMS maintains the RBRVS and updates it annually.

What is the meaning of 'maintain' in this context?

neutral Armorel Young : "supply" is misleading; it isn't stated who supplied (provided/sold) the RBRVS in the first place (X may supply Y with something that Y then has to maintain)

Yes, I see what you mean, I guess I should have reread the full context after thinking of the meaning... it means support, keep in usable order and format
