English term

bithday card

English to Catalan Bus/Financial Other
Hello.
Can anyone confirm if Anglosaxon Companies give their staff
a "birthday card" meant as a voucher or cash money?
This is what I understand but I am not sure I am right.

Perdoneu si no poso el context pero no n'hi-ha prou.

English to English Section As I mentioned in my post. Try ENG 2 ENG Kudoz.

I've got to translate it anyway. Where would you suggest me to place it? TIA
Berni Armstrong Sep 25, 2009:
Beowulf gave no birthday cards! You would be better asking this question on the English/English Kudoz section. As you may have noticed by now Momo, very few English people refer to the English speaking world as "Anglo-Saxon" :-)

Personally, I have never heard of the practice you refer to in your question, but then no clients give freelancers (like me) birthday presents :-)

It would also help if you add more context.
