Although this term is not widely known and maybe has not been officially minted in English yet, it is essencially different from the concept of "arabism" since the latter is impulsed by nationalism, while the former is an intrinsic quality of Arab people.
It exists in French as "arabité" and in Spanish as "arabicidad".

Arabic identity is a possiblity as well...
I just do not see "arabism" as a good equivalent because it is a nationalist position and politically oriented stand.
It exists in French as "arabité" and in Spanish as "arabicidad".
