Refer to the following guidelines for mounting CTs:
• Open the CT by pulling the removable section and placing the section around the main conductor that enters the service panel from the meter or utility (Fig. 64).
Note. Fig. 64 shows CT mounting in a split-phase two-line AC configuration.
• Ensure that the side of the CT that has the label THIS SIDE TOWARD SOURCE faces toward the utility and away from the distribution center.
• If the PV circuit from the inverter has been installed with a ***line-side-tap*** configuration, ensure that the CTs are mounted on the utility side of the tap.
