German term
beschliefbar
German to English
Tech/Engineering
Construction / Civil Engineering
Hi All,
this is an Austrian term, usually appearing in the pair "begehbar bzw. beschliefbar" and referring to tunnels, ducts, caverns etc. Seems to mean something like "crawlable", can someone tell me what it really means and/or ideally a good translation to EN?
Thank you very much in advance! Need to deliver the translation by noon CET on Tuesday.

: Das ist auf jeden Fall die Bedeutung (synonym zu "bekriechbar"), weiß nicht, wie es im Englischen am besten ausgedrückt wird. Laut Duden, 24. Aufl., ist "schliefen" Jägerspr. u. bayr., österr. ugs. für "in den Bau schlüpfen, kriechen".
