Selected

we bow to thee / salute to thee (in Sansrit)

In Hindu religion, it is part of a popular Sanskrit 'stotra' or religious verse chanted in adoration of goddess Durga:

या देवी सर्वभूतेषु शक्तिरुपेण संस्थिता |
नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नमः ||

“Yaa Devi Sarva Bhuteshi Shakti Roopena Samasthita
Namastasyai- Namastasyai -Namastasya -Namo Namah”

O Divine Mother, you reside in all beings as strength and power;
Salutations, salutations, salutations to thee again and again

Similar verses glorifying the powers of other gods and goddesses are also popular, all in the same pattern.

I(We) bow my(our) head(s) for GODESS

1.this is a prayer to Godess only(not to God) because the word TASYAI in sanskrit is streeling,if it would have been TASMAI then could have been used for GOD(purling).
2.As per snaskrit grammer THE BOW will be FOR and not TO the Goddess
