A text about the peoples around the Caspian sea
В галерее местных эпических героев можно найти воинов и абреков, но не моряков и пиратов . Поэтому Каспий бороздили преимущественно корабли из других палестин и таласс.
The text is about the area around the Caspian sea. As far as I know, there is only one Palestine, and the Caspian is not exactly near it. and I can't find any places called Tallas, so I assume it's a reference to the sea goddess.

"палестина" from small letter is a metaphor for any country while Thalassa is sea goddess, so figuratively it can be used for "sea"

The word θάλασσα in modern Greek means sea. It is considered not to be of Indo-European Origin. Seas therefore seems correct. Perhaps the writer is making some kind of comparison between the Mediterranean and the
Caspian, since Palestine is located at the far Eastern end of the former, so
perhaps this is a sort of poetic reference to the Eastern shore of the Caspian.
