make a move/make his move

Literally means from what number pitch is he going to get serious, try to win the game, come out with guns blazing, no more mr. nice guy, go for the jugular (but maybe nothing that colourful) so:
Something like - "When's he going to make his move"
or "I wonder when he's going to make his move"

decide a game

"Which hit will decide the game"
Guess some game commentator is wondering in which round (or literally, with witch ball in turn) it will be already decided which team won (because in baseball it's sometimes decided before the game actually ends).

try to beat (the pitcher)

decide the game

The line indicates that the person who said it is wondering what kind of game the pitcher intends to play.

Literally translated, "(I wonder) at which hit (at which turn) he's going to throw the game-deciding ball."

Said more simply, "(I wonder) how he's gonna throw."
