I'm getting ready to translate a Schedule Sheet for a meeting. You know, no sentences...words only, representing what will be considered at the meeting and in which order.
The term Migrant has often
created problems to many translators as I've seen it come up many times.
A Migrant family here refers to a family who has recently moved to our community and has lived here 3 years or less AND works in something related to agriculture (fruits, vegetables, beef packing plants, dairy farms, etc.)
The school system here has a Migrant Office. What should I call that in Spanish?

If said office gives support, of any kind, to migrant students [or children of migrant workers] I would call it “Oficina de Apoyo al Estudiante Inmigrante" or “Oficina de Apoyo a Estudiantes Inmigrantes”.
