This is a caption below a photo about a youth railroad program, helping young people become more involved in the railways and the railroad professions. Is this meant to be a pun about how youth are valuable?? I can't really tell...

Young people everywhere have a road. A railroad
I would have expected to find открыта but the authors didn't ask me :-)

: Great way to put it, Gary. Actually, it's a play on a famous line from an old Soviet-era propaganda song. Something like "Our young always have a clear road ahead, and our seniors have the respect they deserve". Yeah, right ...

: Just an idea to add a hyphen as an effect: ...A rail-road. For the main "road" part to become more visible and emphatic.

All our youngsters have a road before them. A railroad
Want to imitate the meter of the original?
Молодым везде у нас дорога,
Старикам везде у нас почет.
All our youngsters have a road before them,
All our elders bask in our respect.
Alternate for "youngsters" could be "young folk," since "youngsters" tends to mean very little kids.

: Our youth have a smooth road before them...The original text has an interesting choice of words. To promote a railroad profession with "My Spacious Homeland" in mind is not the most obvious option

Our youth have their runway to anywhere. Sure as steel is steel.
Yes, you're right, it shouldn't be translated literally. They are two typical slogans of Soviet 60's, or around that time, when Soviet girls dremt to be somebody like test pilots and boys - to change the world's outlook in science.
"Молодым везде у нас дорога" - "Our great young have the broadest choice imaginable"; "Железная" - "Forever", very strong, right into the future.
