ambtelijke opdracht / rogatoire opdracht: (gerechtelijk recht) opdracht/onderzoeksmaatregel die wordt uitgevoerd door een rechter of rechtbank op verzoek en in naam van een andere rechter of rechtbank.
rogatoire commissie: (burgerlijk procesrecht) verzoek van een rechter aan elders gevestigde gerechtelijke overheid om in zijn naam een onderzoeksmaatregel uit te voeren.
