This section refers to "Riferimenti di posizione al vano" - position sensors in the elevator shaft.
Then, there is a table with the headings: Segnali di vano richiesti 1LV, 1LS, 2LS
Then *Tolleranza di commutazione dei segnali*: +/- 2mm
Ritardo al trasferimento via CAN dei segnali 4/7 mS
I have signal switching tolerance and threshold but am not happy with either...there must be another term for it??? Any help, as always, much appreciated.

Just like you said - but the tolerance is expressed in "result" terms - elevator stop position departure from "0" (mm - cabin floor position - elevation - versus the staircase floor level at the respective floor).
