Hi Anres-Larsen The Spritfänger is listed in connection with the yeast propagation tank. Rectification is a separate issue and a molecular sieve is something different again.

Hi Wendy Wash or mash is a mixture of milled grain and water that is fermented to obtain alcohol. CO2 is a by-product of yeast fermentation and is removed during the CO2 wash. The alcohol is then ....caught, captured (or whatever the right English equivalent may be) in or by a Spritfänger.
