Jose, Be careful with novation. In English it is a much more limited concept than 'novacion', it does NOT mean modication (novacion modificativa), but ONLY a substitution of parties. So here you can put novacion for novation but it only covers part of the Spanish concept. You could NOT put modificacion.

"dos tipos distintos de novación: la novación extintiva, en la que se extingue totalmente la obligación anterior, quedando sustituida plenamente por la nueva; y la novación modificativa o impropia, en la que únicamente se altera el objeto o algunos de los sujetos de la obligación,.

Novation in English ONLY means the first of these.
