Platební morálka
čeština -> angličtina
Obchod/finance
Podnikání/obchod (obecně)
"Klient s dobrou platební morálkou" (referring to bank loans, credit rating etc.)
I've seen this phrase in a number of contexts and can never find a satisfactory translation.
Payment morale? Payment reliability?

credit history
I think that is what banks in the UK would use to talk about good payers. If you go over your overdraft limit or whatever then it damages your "credit history"

Reliable payer
Good or reliable payer is pretty common - 13000 hits for reliable payer. You cannot really force the English phrase into the Czech structure

Payment performance / Payment history
Honestly, I worked in this field for several years (U.S. company), and we were mostly using the term "Payment performance" or "Payment history" of the customer... I guess "morálka" is only used in Czech...

For instance, D&B rating agency typically uses "Payment performance" - see here below an excerpt from its report:
"...The D&B Failure Score predicts the likelihood that a company will obtain legal relief from its creditors or cease operations with unpaid
obligations over the next 12 months. It is calculated on the basis of continuous monitoring of demographic, financial variables as well as
payment performance and negative information."

another excerpt from D&B´s report:
"...History and Industry Comparison of the Payment Behaviour..."
However, "performance" is used much more frequently...

Thanks!! Exactly - I was going to suggest a "p. track record" as a third alternative option... however, "performance" or "history" being used more often...but you are perfectly right and thanks for the German-English KudoZ entry as well!!

payment practices
Any reason we can't use payment practices? It's widely used in my experience. I also like payment history and similar terms.
