Discussion

AllegroTrans Mar 16, 2011:
Thanks Clearly the "you" is a secured lender such as a Building Society, not the lawyer of the other party
chaplin (asker) Mar 16, 2011:
un autre exemple:
The bankrupt’s interest in the property at [address of property] forms part of the bankruptcy estate as a result of the provisions of Article 4 of the EC Regulation on Insolvency Proceedings 2000. I understand that you have not yet realised your security in the property.
chaplin (asker) Mar 16, 2011:
valeur mobilière ou immobilière ici on parle d'une maison?
la phrase est la suivanteI, [name of official receiver], Official Receiver and trustee of the bankruptcy estate of [bankrupt’s full name], understand that you are a chargeholder of the property at [address of property] – the bankrupt’s interest in which, as a result of the provisions of Article 4 of the EC Regulation on Insolvency Proceedings 2000, forms part of the bankruptcy estate. I understand that you have not yet realised your security in the property.
chaplin (asker) Mar 16, 2011:
The property is the bankrupt's and the person who is writing is the official receiver who has been looking after the bankruptcy estate. You refers to the person on the other side who is maybe now the lawyer of the other party I suppose. It is difficult because it is not a real case but a template to be used in French by a lawyer I think.
AllegroTrans Mar 15, 2011:
Context the property - whose property?
your security - who is you?
Come on, asker you need to provide CONTEXT and TEXT if you want people to help you

liquider votre valeur mobilière

"To Realize" in French is "Liquider", as is suggested by the dictionnary definition
4. Realize: to convert into cash or money: to realize securities.

and Security in a real estate context is "valeur mobilière"

Adding up the two gives you "Liquider votre valeur mobilière"

neutral AllegroTrans : not completely sure; "security" here is the amount charged against the property by a lender
