After long negotiation, I convinced the guard to let me pass a Speedlight mounted on a stand through the small security opening.
He begrudgingly accommodated my request by precisely placing and aiming the light inside.
I then put the Master Speedlight on low output on my side of the glass and used the remote as the main light in the picture.
