What is the exact meaning of "nominal" here please?

These prices do not include our nominal annual registration fee to join as a member [of an association].

In my work field, could be different.... default value so called, similar to nominal diametter of a pipe? e.g. a DN100 pipe has nominal diameter of 100mm but actually the outer diametter can be about 114mm...

"nominal" means in name only, in other words not very much or significant

Nominal in this case means a very low fee, maybe just to cover administration costs. It is a fee in name only.

Nominal fee = a fee that does not reflect the true value of the subject it is attached to.

It means the amount you pay is cheap when you consider the overall value of being a member.
