Achei uma página que "explica" estes termos. Em termos aproximados, seria "(metal) da mesma resistência ou de menos resistência", mas também não é bem isso! Leia o artigo que vai ajudar a escolher termos que servem:

| Então. Eu pensei isso também, mas existe "overmatching" e aí eu pensei se não seria uma "não-correspondência" num nível inferior, sabe? O que você acha? Por outro lado, no texto só ocorre "matching" e "undermatching"... |
