mesofíticos = mesophytic and I believe "prado de diente" would be daisy field, but siega?

I think the answer is probably a combination of andres-larsen's and Taña's contributions, but I'm still not sure how to phrase the whole thing.

Cegar is to cut or reap, so I think it might me a hayfield.

I also found "harvest" and the only thing I can come up with is daisy fields and harvest fields which doesn't seem to make much sense.

Actually you may be right about daisy, because that's what Bellis perennis is.

I have a feeling this is going to take a lot of debate. I'm not sure about "daisy" for "diente" - isn't that "margarita" in Spanish? "Alianza Cynosurion cristati" is "Cynosurion cristati alliance". And the dictionary translation of "siega" is "harvest", though I'm not sure what it means here.

Thanks Phil. I thought of mesophytic grasslands comprised of meadows and (fertilized) pastures .. perhaps a bit wordy .. perhaps others can provide a more concise version.
