from other documents seems it is definitely a reference to distance or angular arrangement

ds and sn I'm assuming they are right (ds) and left (sn) although I more often see them abbreviated as dx and sx

neutral casper (X) : disfunzioni del sistema del movimento = locomotor dysfunction. So, I don't know what makes you think of 'syndrome'. In any case, "movement impaired syndrome" sounds very much like translatese.
