Spanish term

puro longo

Spanish to English Other Slang
From Ecuador, please help me with this phrase. Here is the context: "Está **puro longo** parándose contra el presidente, ¿no? )))."

If it is of any help, the speaker is a shady character who is prejudiced against his country's natives, and the text uses this quote to help back up the assertion.

Re the Existing translation from Charles Davis This was precisely what I was seeking. It's not for grading, but Charles, if it were, I would have chosen yours. Both the other suggestions were in the right vein, though. If I had to choose between the two officially offererd ones, I would probably choose Christine Walsh's, as it's more direct and to the point. Thanks to all three of you. You were great!

longo is a derogatory word for native Ecuadorians. The other meaning the RAE gives is 'teenager', but I can't see how that would fit here.
