The toxicokinetics of insulin X in rats was sex-independent and systemic exposure increased proportionally with dose between ***. Systemic accumulation was low. After dose administration, observed tmax was 1-3 hours and the terminal t½ was 3-5 hours. There did not appear to be any large differences in the exposure (Cmax and AUC(0-24h)) to insulin X after dosing of the two different batches at two dose levels, although after repeat dosing of the highest dose there was an approximately 20% lower systemic exposure observed for the aged insulin X compared to non-aged.
