Los viajes a estas zonas serán confirmados...

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Insurance
A little help with the below insurance text, please.

This relates to areas excluded by institute classification clauses due to war/strike risks.

"Los viajes a estas zonas serán confirmados por la Compañia mediante la sobreprima que corresponda a través del sistema Online de forma automática o bien mediante consulta y confirmación por escrito, dependiendo de la severidad de los países en guerra."

My attempt:

"The applicable additional premium for voyages to these areas shall be confirmed by the Company automatically by means of the online system or through written inquiry and confirmation, depending on the severity of the countries at war."

Many thanks.

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Trips to these regions will be confirmed...

I wouldn't use "voyages" without knowing the mode of transport

also the use of areas/regions/places depends on further context

Thanks, Rich -- helpful, as always.
Thanks, Rich and LisaMac. The document relates to insuring goods being transported. At one point, they specified maritime transit. But I agree, here they are referring to air, sea and land. Does "trips" and "travels" still make sense in the context of transporting goods? Is there another term used?
Peer comment(s):

agree Lisa McCarthy : Yep, definitely avoid 'voyages'. Ithink you could also use 'travel' here instead of 'trips'.

IMHO there is something very wrong with this sentence. Surely the additional premium depends on the severity of the situation?
In any case "depending on the severity of the countries at war" makes no sense. I imagine what is meant is "depending on the gravity of the war situation in those countries" or similar.

@ Tran

Maybe I'm tired, but in your sentence I understand it as though the confirmation will be sent online or in writing depending on......
Note from asker:
Thanks, Wendy - yes, severity did sound off to me. As to your first point, I thought that was what I was saying? Perhaps I need to look at it again after resting my eyes!
Thanks, Wendy -- this was helpful.
