Thank you Angela!!!! The whole Proz community, the Site Staff and me are grateful to you for your perspicacious and tireless cleaning attitude. We all know that this site will be much a better place after that this question will be closed. By the way may I humbly inform you that when I posted this question, in July 2003, the option 'close without grading' was not available to the site members? I promise that I will strictly follow your directives as soon as I will have a more reliable connection: at the moment I am sailing the Mediterranean sea and my GPRS/UMTS connection ain't that stable, so I am not at my ease reading the important e-mails that I receive everyday and navigating proz.com as I would do usually. Anyway I will try to shorten my holidays for helping clean the Proz servers. Until then, enjoy your summertime, and good search for other untidiness! this question is still in the 'open questions' list - if you choose the option 'close without grading' the site will be a bit tidier

Thanx everybody, but.... ...after querying the agency, they said that the source was wrong, and the correct source text should have been "drop out" or "dropout" (see http://www.sheldonbrown.com/gloss_d.html ). Thanx again to everybody.
