Spanish term
camino consolidado
Spanish to English
Tech/Engineering
Construction / Civil Engineering
In Argentina, we use this term a lot to refer to "dirt roads" that are well maintained and that have been "compacted" by the use of heavy machinery. I´m not that sure of its equivalent.. one option could be "gravel-surfaced" road, but in this case gravel from a quarry is used to improve the surface of the road and I´m not sure if in a "camino consolidado" gravel from another location is used.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

Comment: "I´ve chosen this option because an unpaved road would be a dirty road, and this road is more than that... thanks to you all!"

: I'd go for "unpaved". We don't know that it's gravel.

Yes, I did not provide context in the first place because I considered it was not helpful... Thanks!
