This is a typically general (ie. imprecise) term used in many different contexts and ways by different sectors (and people). While the IATE does have 'business intelligence' as the term for omvärldsanalys- My experience is that BI is more oriented towards data systems that crunch numbers (especially data mining) to help with tactical decision making. That's why I'd like to see 'strategic' in this limited context. I prefer assessment, but analysis is also used.
