I understand what is meant by the expression "يلعن ابو خاش اللى جابو اسرائيل" but would like to know the orign of "ابو خاش" and why it is used in this context.

I think its a metaphor and exaggeration... It's an Egyptian use comes with cursing...

We can avoid it and add harshly, or something similar to that.

You can't hear someone cursing/swearing harshly.....
