Ojo con la traducción de dose-limiting toxicity, que, según el contexto concreto, puede ser "acontecimiento adverso (o reacción adversa) limitante de LA dosis" (caso más frecuente) o "toxicidad limitante de LA dosis".
Por ejemplo, en una frase general como ésta:
"It postulates that the DLT is determined by plasma drug concentrations and that AUC is a measure that holds across species."
la traducción pertinente es "toxicidad limitante de la dosis". En cambio, en un caso como éste:
"In conclusion, the MTD of this schedule is 10 mg/day and the DLTs are neutropenia and diarrhea."
