Proposition.
I have a thing a bit like this in my loft: it is a spliter for the satellite signal, it feeds power from the main decoder up to power the LNB, but the secondary signal output (for a second decoder) has the power blocked, so that the decoders are not trying to feed pwoer into one another!
"ports" are obviously not "ports" as in PC hardware or PC software.
