Re: Communism It might well be a reference to Communist states given that Congo was a "People's Republic" between 1970 and 1991. So it would be useful to learn which period the text at stake is dealing with.

Hello Veronika This is an analogous term that is impossible to translate without context. Guess, we may, know, we shan't.

Not really a translation question. You'll find various color schemes. Some relate to the spread of viruses, AIDS etc., and yes, Communism; all sorts of distinctions, usually contrasting with blue.

Probably some color scheme - check whether there is a chart. Congo does not seem a likely candidate for communism, though it is true that a lot of bloodshed has taken place there...
