Regulatory affairs (RA), also called government affairs, is a profession within regulated industries, such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, energy, and banking. Regulatory affairs also has a very specific meaning within the healthcare industries (pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biologics and functional foods).

As normal in modern Norwegian the term is most often left in English
both because it looks good on a business card, and because it is important for English speakers in the same company or in other companies to know that your job is what is called
Regulatory Affairs Officer (or that you work in the Regulatory Affairs department).
Maybe also because nobody know a good translation and because the American company lawyers are afraid of being sued...

In my experience, the job titles and department names of international companies are best left in English. No need to "invent" Norwegian translations which more or less fit.
