I think it could be said like this given the context, since a sale is an exchange of goods/services/property for money or another type of consideration, rendering the inclusion of "transaction" and "for a consideration" superfluous.

: disposition is not only sale, it can be exchange, gift, etc.
OK, why not leave it at just "sale" then, since it is sufficient to describe all the three words?

Well, the asker did specify it is a sale, so it works in this case. And as I have said in my note, there are indeed different types of disposition. My suggestion only works in this particular case. That is a good point; anyway, let the asker decide.
