Portuguese term

a que atribuem igual valor

Portuguese to English Law/Patents Real Estate
This is from a Portuguese text on an urban land registry:

"Prédio rústico composto de terra de centeio, com a área de mil quinhentos e setenta e cinco metros quadrados, sito no lugar de “(xxx)”, freguesia de (xxx), concelho de (xxx), inscrito na matriz sob o artigo 235, com o valor patrimonial de 1.300.000, a que atribuem igual valor, que confronta de norte com …"

According to my research, the expression "a que atribuem igual valor" seems to be a boilerplate in Portuguese land registries, but I don't exactly understand it. Who is "assigning" the "same value", and to what?

In other words, what are the subject and object of the verb "atribuir"?

Any explanations, in English or Portuguese, would be most welcome. Thanks in advance.

to which equal value is hereby given/attributed

Todd, I recall having had the same issue mydelf in the past. I contacted a real-estate agent here in Brazil (not Portugual), who told me that the value given (patrimonial) was the result of an official valuation, and the "igual valor" sentence just confirmed that the agent was working with that dame value in the present document. Hope this goes some way to helping.

which the parties confirm

The fact registered is a tranfer of title as evidenced by a deed of transfer. That deed describes the property transferred/sold and in it the partires adopt the registered fiscal land value as the acxtual value of the property. The implied "they" refers to the parties to the deed, i.e. vendor and purchaser
