valid;
"Holographic" or handwritten wills generally require no witnesses to be valid.
One or more beneficiaries (devisees, legatees) must generally be clearly stated in the text, but some jurisdictions allow a valid will that merely revokes a previous will, revokes a disposition in a previous will, or names an executor.

lawful
Hvala za odgovor i za napomenu :). |

: Not in UK for sure; a will can be "lawful" (not beaking any law) but still not be valid - if for no other reasons because someone (rightly or wrongly) is contesting it. The usage is to say that a will is "valid" or not. A "lawful will" sounds strange.

Nevada law also allows citizens to distribute property in accordance to their wishes as expressed in a lawful will and testament, usually referred to as a will. To be valid, all wills in Nevada must comply with the state's requirements. Generally, the law requires that a will be written and signed by the testator (the person making the will) and witnessed and signed by two competent people.“

: the problem with this and similar dictionaries is that there's no sample sentences showing exactly which variant is used in which context; a "lawful will" sounds as odd in English as "zakoniti testament" in Serbian.
