inverterstyrd pump
När det gäller värmepumpar etc. brukar de använda ordet inverterstyrd när något styrs av en växelriktare (som är mer svenskt).
"Inverterstyrd rotationskompressor" (Nibe är ett svenskt företag!)

: The question was about an inverter driven pump in an air conditioning system, supplied with mains voltage 230/400 V. Your references are for supply of power from solar power plants.

My references define "inverter" and "växelriktare"; and prove that they are the same. Please do read again!

: Länka gärna till någon pump som är "växelriktardriven"!

frekvensomriktarstyrd pump
The complete English term is 'frequency inverter' or more correct 'frequency converter' (you can't invert the frequency, but you can convert it) and the correct Swedish term is 'frekvensomriktare' or 'frekvensomformare' (also 'frekvensomvandlare' is used). Also the Swedish 'frekvensomriktare' is incorrect, because you cant 'redirect' the frequency. 'växelriktare' (inverter) is a unit in a 'frekvensomriktare', but since the mains voltage is AC, you first need a rectifier to produce DC and then an inverter to produce the desired output voltage in AC. In order to use a 'växelriktare' you have to combine it with a rectifier, which in fact is used in larger systems, with one rectifier that feeds several inverters. The term 'inverter' is Swenglish...

Sven, I agree with you about the term 'inverter', 'växelriktare' in Swedish. The question was about an 'inverter driven pump' for an 'air conditioning'. Your references describe inverters for production of AC voltage from solar power plants. There is a big difference between these two. I don't think you cared to read my explanation above. I have been working with frequency converters since the 1980's, when Danfoss launched the first types, and also established the term 'frekvensomformare', which also is semanticallyh correct. Later ABB and Vacon called their frequency converters "frekvensomriktare'. The term 'frekvensomvandlare' I don't like at all.
