Alles im Blick

German to English Marketing Idioms / Maxims / Sayings website
I am translating a website for a company that provides laboratory furniture (such as fume cupboards and cabinets)
The phrase "Alles im Blick" is taken from the "Impressum" section, which I have entitled "legal". The beginning of the document is just all the header and drop-down menu sections you get on a website so it can seem a bit "bitty" and higglety pigglety.

But anyway, here goes, this is the context:

and the previous page is their Sitemap (Geschichte, Produktübersicht, Katalog, Top-Eigenschaften etc) - again just headings.

I thought "alles im Blick" might mean "always transparent" i.e. the legal information is open to public scrutiny/under the public eye or it could mean "always available" i.e. you can always access it. The problem is that "alles im Blick" just seems to pop out of nowhere amid all these plain, pretty standard headings.

Jonathan! I think you've got it! Sorry for posting so many replies to this thread. I hope I'm not clogging up inboxes here. I've had a look at their online site. As I'm working from word documents I don't tend to look at the actual site itself (something to learn from!) http://www.koettermann.com/labor/ and the menu across the top (HOME, IMPRESSUM, SITEMAP, KONTAKT, NEWSLETTER, FAVORITEN) remains at that point on the screen no matter what you click on. Therefore I think "Immer im Blick" must be a note to the webmaster to say "Always visible". What do you think? Cheers, J

Phil, thanks for your input. I had a look on other websites (BA, Virgin Media, Virgin Atlantic, Sainsbury, Tesco, Ikea etc) and most seemed to have "Legal" written across the bottom. I agree that having 'team', 'news' and 'our philosophy' listed in there unusal, even off putting. Leo has it listed (among others) as "about (on a website)" and I have seen this in the footer of multinationals' websites. An alternative is "site notice" listed on dict.cc but I have not seen this as often. Thanks again for your feedback

Argh! Serves me right for trying to multitask! I'm so sorry. It is indeed "Immer im Blick." I wonder if there is any way of changing the title...

Just to confirm: the question is for IMMER IM BLICK.

I'm so glad you didn't translate Impressum as Imprint, which is quite wrong, but is still the usual translation. However, I don't think your suggestion of Legal covers it either, because it includes things like Aktuelles, Leitgedanke, and Team.

"Immer im Blick" nor "Alles im Blick" come up at all in a site search, so I think a typo is quite possible here.

Perhaps a typo At least as far as I can tell the online version of your Impressum does not contain "Alles im Blick"? Or perhaps a note to the webmaster?

Ist es "Alles im Blick" oder "Immer im Blick"? Für mich hört sich das an, als sollte man einen schnellen Überblick erhalten, also "at a glance". "Immer im Blick" würde allerdings die Bedeutung in eine andere Richtung lenken. Dann vielleicht "In focus"?

"At a glance" fuer "Alles im Blick" hoert sich wirklich gut an. Leider war es einen Typfehler meinetwegen. Denken Sie dass es noch "In focus" bedeudet. Laut meiner Recherche hat es mit "keeping a close eye on" bzw.
