Neste artigo [www.scielo.br/pdf/abb/v5n2/v5n2a03.pdf], p.49, 1o. parágrafo, é explicitada a relação entre cromossomo satélite e satelitado:
"Nessas células não é possível reconhecer o cromossomo satelitado, uma vez que o satélite está sendo confundido com um "cromossomo extra", enquanto nas células com 2n=24 o par satelitado é facilmente identificado."
