rikka (asker) Mar 20, 2013:
thank you very much for your suggestions. I guess I will use "iliac" as an adjective here, putting in front of the organ, because, as AL has pointed out, the adverb "iliacally" is virtually never used. Thanks!
Andres Larsen Mar 19, 2013:
left-sided iliofemorally as adverbial inflection? could perhaps be (left-sided) "iliofemorally" as an adverbial inflection of the adjective (left-sided) "iliofemoral"?

it is not a sentence as such, just listing of various findings at different locations; a few times they come up as "im Bereich des ..." rechts oder links, iliakal; I would be grateful for a hint on how the location indicators are usually translated in medical jargon in English - in German these adverbs just stand after the respective organ, eg. "Schambein rechts" - in the region of the pubic bone "on the right" "on the right side"?
Merry Foxworth Mar 19, 2013:
more context please at least the entire sentence
rikka (asker) Mar 19, 2013:
I need to express the location as an adverb, so "in the region of the femur in the left iliac ... area? side"?
