Context:
Is "extendido en dos pliegos" : has issued on two class 14 forms (see below):
They do hereby sign and ratify before me, the Notary, who has issued on two class 14 forms, series H, numbers 3,827,696 and 3827695, and to which I do hereby attest.
Not sure if pliegos means something else in this context. Thanks.

"Pliego" is nothing but a sheet of paper. You can say "sheet," or "folio," or "pages," or whatever fits in the context.
"Pliego" comes from "plegar," "to fold." In Spain, a "pliego" is a large sheet of paper folded into two; it is numbered only on one of the pages, so when you get it it will be numbered consecutively, but only every other page. A real pain because you can't use automatic pagination in Word. Butterworth's describes it as "quadrangular piece of paper which is folded in the middle."
The answer above - "notarial records / seals" - is absolutely NOT correct. You just have to look it up in the dictionary.

Note from asker:
Thanks Claudia. I found it helpful! People can be rude on here, but I'm not entirely sure that's their intention. I do think people could take an extra moment to think about what they are typing to make sure it's worded in a way that's constructive and not insulting. There is a lot of ego on here to be the best and most knowledgeable that can get a bit tiring. |

No need to be rude. I apologize for my brief explanation. I meant: The original wording is typical of Notaries Public in Spanish language, and it refers to a numbered document generally called Notarial Record.
