Catalan term

Eritrocitos, c. nom; eritrocitos, fr. vol.

Catalan to English Medical Medical: Cardiology lab tests
These abbreviations refer to the nomenclature and units of biological analysis. I am wondering what "c. nom" and "fr. vol". refer to. I think I have been able to figure out some of the others:
c. subst = substance concentration
c. massa = mass concentration

I think the ProZ rules state that we can only post one question at a time. Why don't you post 'c. nom' as a separate question? 'nom' = 'nombre' = number.

I know this one for sure, as I've had it before, and I too would like to know what the c. nom. is. Nominal?
