Hello all,
I'm translating the regular Japanese payment of tax certificate. It has a seperate section for 課税額等 and 納税額等. Tokyo residents' tax and ward tax is in the 課税額等 column and 特別徴収納付済額 is in 納税額等 column.
Could anyone tell me how to translate these two terms. Are they a different type of tax.
Many thanks,
Nicholas

tax amount etc./amount of tax due etc.
Apparently, "課税額" refers to tax "amount", while "納税額" means "tax due".
"等" means "etc."
"等" means "etc."
1 day 1 hr
tax amount to be paid/tax amount already paid

Note from asker:
Thank you for the reference information. I'm sure the answer is hidden away somewhere within those 85 pages, but it's difficult to pin point the english terms for 課税金 and 納税金. It's outside my area because the page is tagged onto a project from a different field. Do you know the English terms? Many thanks, Nick |
