Latvian term

ieriebt

Latvian to English Law/Patents Law (general) tiesas sēdes protokols LV-HU
Uz pieteicēja pilnvarotās pārstāves jautājumu atbildētāja ****:

Biju **** bāriņtiesā, kur man teica, ka bez tiesas lēmuma neko nedarīs. Policija teica, ka nemeklē bērnus. Ko man vajadzēja darīt?

to cause smb inconvenience

Hei, Liza!

Manuprāt, tāda īsti precīza šī darbības vārda tulkojuma - ar vienu vārdu - angliski nav. Šajā gadījumā, es tulkotu frāzi 'viņš gribēja man ieriebt' kā 'he was being spiteful'.
Ceru, ka noderēs. :)

cause some (kind of) trouble

Pirmais, kas ienāk prātā, lasot tekstu latviski.
I didn't act like the child's father.
I'm not sure whether he wanted to cause me some kind of trouble that way or whatever.
The text is written in a colloquial manner, thus, it should be translated in the same way.
