Hi Jo I'm not doubting that media converters exist as you describe. They appear under "networking" and are "filed in: modems", according to your ref. which covers everything in the world of automation, but they are still "MEDIA" converters and not "medium" converters. ;)
We can discuss it all day, we really need a little more help from the asker, if we could see a few more items that appear in the list then we'd know in a jiffy!

@ JoLuGo But the ST is neither "media converter" nor "mediums converter". I don't think that information systems would come under the category of "Process Automation and Control equipment".
