I do not think that there is an equivalent proverb in English, so you will just have to invent something, and the above is one attempt at this.

Of course, it does not involve any taboo language, unlike the original, so the register is different.

I do not think that this is a matter of living beyond one's means so much as engaging in expenditure/behaviour that does not befit one's economic circumstances.

He/she lives beyond his/her means.

This is the meaning. The English translation is something like: "He/she does not have any yoghurt to drink but he/she goes to the shitter on a royal chair." In other words, he/she lives beyond his/her means.
